Welcome to my website, my name is Joshua Inayat and it's a pleasure to meet you.
I hope you don't mind the dark aesthetics of the site. It's merely a personal preference on my part. It's not a representation in how I feel about life or death any which way. In fact, despite the appearance of this website and some of it's photographs, I feel well balanced. I can recognize the dark and the light and accept both as being a necessary duality. After all, you can't have one without the other!
Not only that, but the color black represents mourning as well. Most of us are mourning someone at some point in our lives.
That's where the purpose of my work comes in. For those of you with beloved family and friends here in the Central Oregon area and can't visit - I can. It just so happens that I am a talented photographer who will capture not just the memorial marker that indicates a final resting place, but the entire area and atmosphere as well. It's sort of like a digital monument you can tour, when you view all of the photographs as a whole.
I will happily take any request at any reasonable driving distance. Please use the Contact Us portion of the page and along with your information and details, please provide which cemetery and as best you can, a description and location of the headstone / monument you wish to have photographed.
I do this for an open donation, whatever you feel is fair, because I simply love being able to re-connect people on such an important level. I am always honored to be given what I see as a sacred task, given the personal nature. I understand, too. I have lost my mother, grandparents and friends of all ages through the years.
Believe me, I know how important this little part of closure and peace of mind can be.
Take a look through the galleries. If you need that close and peace of mind of seeing with your own eyes, I'm just one email away.
